Introductions

Center warm-up; exploring technical functions.
This class will focus on the intention of various warm-up exercises. Blending ballet, jazz, and modern techniques; this class will encourage dancers to expand their range and texture in movement wile utilizing their center.

Engaging the Audience; Theater + Commercial Jazz
Techniques for being a captivating Performer through focus, musicality, storytelling, and dynamics.

Choreography Lab
Dancers will engage in various exercises to unlock creativity while making story-driven movement. Dancers will then break into groups to create phrases that will be used in The Dance Advance film Project.

Dance on camera: Making a dance film
All dancers will have the opportunity to be a part of creating a dance film both in-front of and behind the camera. All attendees will receive a downloadable link to the film once editing is complete.

Professional Preparation Seminar/Q & A 
This group discussion offers dancers resources for pursuing their goals in any career they choose. We will discuss various career paths for a performing artist, options for career paths behind the scenes in the performing arts or education, College VS Career first, What You can do now to get a jump start, and other Helpful Resources.

    Must Pre-pay the Non-Refundable $25 Registration fee to reserve spot. Pay remaining balance of $110 at the day of the intensive.
